Happy Saint Andrew’s Day!

by teachy

On this day, the 30th of November, the Scots celebrate their patron saint day, Saint Andrew. You can see his story in this video:

The Scots have a reputation for liking whiskey…

… and for being careful with money (in other words, mean and stingy).
How many Scotsmen does it take to change a light bulb?
Och! It’s no that dark!

The Scots have an infallible cure for sea-sickness. They lean over the side of the ship with a ten pence coin in their teeth.
Have you heard the rumour that the Grand Canyon was started by a Scotsman who lost a coin in a ditch?

But… what no one really knows is what they wear under their kilt.

Happy Saint Andrew’s Day!
