Yes, you won’t run away without doing some homework during the holiday. Remember that we’ll have our mock exam in February and you should be ready.

To practise your writing, you can send me your compositions, choose any of the following topics:

– Describe a member of your family, his/her personality, what he/she does, good and bad personality points, his/her hobbies, etc.

– Invent a fairy tale, “Once upon a time…”, or write about an old famous fairy tale (e.g. “Little Red Riding Hood”, “Cinderella”, “Snow-White and the Seven Dwarfs”, etc).

– Write about your best or worst past memory, when did it happen?, what happened?, how did you feel?, etc.

Don’t forget to write coherent and cohesive paragraphs, check for grammar or spelling mistakes and show off, show how much you know by using as much new vocabulary and grammatical structures as possible.

And you know that you can try and meet foreigners with whom you can practise your speaking, or else, look for a virtual penpal in any of these websites:

Well, all I have to say now is that I wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year full of love and nice things. I’ll see you this afternoon at the School’s Christmas Party.

Be good and happy.
